TL Adams, our Co-Founder and Friend of Habitat for Humanity Pasadena, passed away on Saturday, May 22nd. This was a week after we dedicated our 39th Home. All of which were designed and built with the love and compassion and an eye for detail, that TL gave to each project.
TL was humble in his service to the community. He was so quick to share his accolades with his fellow team of volunteers. In 2020 he was recognized by the Mayor on his 91st Birthday and Awarded the TL Adams Day of Recognition. In the Fall of 2020, he was give the Volunteer of the Year Award, along with fellow volunteer Bill Leimbach, by the local Pasadena Kiwanis Club.
His family has requested that in lieu of flowers, that if you would like to give, please consider a donation to Habitat for Humanity Pasadena in his honor. While he has left us to join his beloved wife, Yvonne, he will never truly be gone. His impact on the lives he changed will be felt for generations and we have been blessed.

Thank you Habitat International and Habitat Texas
Remember the show "The A Team" and Hannibal would say, "I love it when a plan comes together!", that is how I always feel after a big group collaboration and then seeing the final results. During the freeze, Mrs. Gonzales and her sister, who uses a walker, fell down their stairs and off their rotting porch. Getting a porch to get into their home was essential, but getting a ramp to make it safer for them both, was icing on the cake. Volunteers from Pasadena Habitat, Bay Area Habitat, and Texas Ramp Project came together to build an amazing ramp and new porch. Using volunteers helps leverage the funding we received from Habitat Texas and Habitat International, to go that extra mile for Mrs. Gonzales and many more who had damage after Winter Storm Uri.
