Habitat for Humanity Pasadena

You Can Help Build IT!

Habitat For Humanity Pasadena

Pasadena Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit,
ecumenical Christian housing ministry that
seeks to provide a decent house in a decent
community for all of God's people in need.
Through volunteer labor and tax deductible
donations of money and materials, Habitat
builds and renovates simple decent houses with
the help of homeowner (partner families).
Habitat invites people from all walks of life to
work together to build houses with partner
families.

Habitat is not a giveaway program.  Habitat
houses are sold to partner families at cost and
financed with affordable no-interest loans.
Homeowners monthly mortgage payments are
used to build more houses.  Homeowners invest
at least 300 hours of their own labor into
building their house and the houses of others.

Volunteers provide most of the labor, and
individuals, businesses, Churches, and the
profit from our ReStore provides the money and
materials needed to build Habitat houses.
